The Institute for Transformative Thought and Learning, LLC (“ITTL Consulting,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects the privacy of people who visit this website, contact the practice, or begin a conversation about organizational consultation, assessment, research, leadership development, training, or evaluation.
This Privacy Policy explains the limited way this website handles information. It also explains how information may be handled when a visitor submits an initial inquiry, contacts ITTL Consulting directly, or subscribes to ITTL Perspectives.
1. Website posture
This website is primarily a static informational website. It does not currently provide account creation, client login areas, payment processing, or online scheduling.
The Contact page provides a limited initial inquiry form and also keeps direct email visible as a fallback. When you submit the inquiry form, the information you provide is sent to ITTL Consulting by email for manual review. The form does not create a website inquiry database and does not send an automatic confirmation email back to the person submitting the inquiry. When you choose an email link instead, including through the visible email fallback on the Contact page, your message is handled through your email application and provider.
The website includes a newsletter subscription form for ITTL Perspectives. That form collects only an email address and uses a double opt-in confirmation process before a subscription is confirmed.
2. Information you choose to send
If you submit the inquiry form, ITTL Consulting collects the information you choose to provide in that form, including your name, email address, organization, role, service interest, brief challenge description, and acknowledgment.
If you email ITTL Consulting directly, you may choose to provide information such as your name, organization, role, contact details, organizational context, service needs, timing, or other information you voluntarily include in the message.
Please do not send highly sensitive personal, clinical, employee, legal, or confidential organizational information in an initial inquiry or email unless ITTL Consulting has requested it and an appropriate agreement or process is in place.
If you subscribe to ITTL Perspectives, the newsletter form asks for your email address. ITTL Consulting uses that email address to process the subscription request, send a confirmation email, and, if you confirm, send occasional ITTL Perspectives communications.
3. Technical information
Even static websites may involve limited technical processing by hosting, security, or infrastructure providers. This may include basic information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring page, date and time of access, and similar technical logs needed to deliver, secure, and maintain the website.
ITTL Consulting does not use this public website to create user accounts or sell visitor information.
4. Cookies and analytics
ITTL Consulting uses Google Analytics to understand basic website activity, such as pages visited, referring page, browser and device information, approximate region, and date and time of access. ITTL Consulting does not use Google Analytics for advertising personalization and does not send newsletter email addresses, inquiry content, organizational details, or other confidential material to analytics.
The site also stores a light-or-dark display preference in your browser’s local storage. That preference remains on your device unless you clear it and is not used to identify you. If embedded media, scheduling tools, or other third-party integrations are added later, this Privacy Policy should be updated before or at the time those tools are launched.
5. How information is used
Information voluntarily sent to ITTL Consulting through the inquiry form or direct email may be used to receive and assess the inquiry, understand the organizational challenge or context you described, determine whether consultation or assessment may be appropriate, prepare follow-up communication, develop a proposal, protect the website from abuse where necessary, or maintain professional and administrative records.
The inquiry form uses limited abuse-prevention checks, such as request-size limits, required fields, field-length limits, allowed choices for controlled fields, origin checks, a hidden anti-spam field, conservative link-abuse checks, and best-effort rate limiting. These controls are used to protect the website and ITTL Consulting’s contact channel, not to create a marketing profile.
Newsletter subscription information is used to manage the subscription request, send the double opt-in confirmation email, maintain subscription status, deliver ITTL Perspectives to confirmed subscribers, and honor unsubscribe requests.
6. Email service providers
ITTL Consulting uses Brevo to help manage newsletter subscription requests, send double opt-in confirmation emails, maintain subscriber records and subscription status, deliver ITTL Perspectives email communications, and process ordinary campaign unsubscribe status. A subscription is completed only after the recipient follows the applicable confirmation process.
ITTL Consulting may also use Brevo’s transactional email infrastructure to deliver website inquiry notifications to ITTL Consulting. Inquiry submitters are not automatically subscribed to ITTL Perspectives, added to a newsletter list, or sent a marketing confirmation email because they submit an inquiry.
Hosting and serverless infrastructure providers, including Vercel, may process ordinary operational metadata and logs needed to receive the form submission, run the server endpoint, deliver responses, protect the service, troubleshoot errors, and maintain the website.
Confirmed subscribers may receive ITTL Perspectives, occasional thinking on people, systems, leadership, organizational life, change, and congruence. Subscribers may unsubscribe using the unsubscribe links included in newsletter emails.
When a subscriber unsubscribes, the email address and associated subscription status may remain in Brevo as an unsubscribed, blocklisted, suppression, or similar opt-out record so that the request can be respected and future campaign emails are not sent inadvertently. Unsubscribing stops future newsletter campaign communications but does not necessarily delete the contact record.
7. Client and engagement information
If ITTL Consulting enters into a consulting, research, assessment, training, or evaluation engagement with an organization, the handling of client information, participant information, assessment data, reports, recordings, transcripts, or other engagement materials should be governed by the applicable proposal, agreement, informed consent process, confidentiality terms, or project-specific protocol.
This public website policy does not replace a signed client agreement.
8. Confidentiality
ITTL Consulting treats inquiries and client communications with care. However, email is not always a secure method for sending sensitive information. Submitting an initial website inquiry or sending an initial email does not by itself create a confidential consulting relationship, clinical relationship, research relationship, or professional engagement.
A formal relationship begins only when ITTL Consulting and the client agree to the scope, terms, and responsibilities of the work.
9. Information sharing
ITTL Consulting does not sell personal information. Information may be shared only when appropriate to respond to an inquiry, perform agreed work, use necessary service providers, comply with legal obligations, protect rights or safety, or as otherwise described in a written agreement with a client.
10. Data retention
The website does not create a separate inquiry database for initial consulting inquiries. Inquiry form submissions are delivered to ITTL Consulting by email and may remain in ITTL Consulting email systems, email service provider systems, operational logs, backups, or related administrative records as needed for professional, administrative, legal, accounting, security, or client-service purposes.
ITTL Consulting may retain inquiry emails, project communications, proposals, and engagement records as needed for professional, administrative, legal, accounting, or client-service purposes.
For formal consulting, research, assessment, or evaluation projects, retention should be addressed in the project agreement or protocol.
Newsletter subscription records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to administer subscriptions, document confirmation or subscription status, honor unsubscribe requests, prevent inadvertent re-enrollment in email campaigns, maintain suppression records, and meet applicable administrative, legal, or compliance needs.
11. Your choices
You may contact ITTL Consulting to request correction, deletion, or limitation of information you previously provided through the inquiry form or direct email, subject to professional, contractual, legal, security, provider-backup, or recordkeeping obligations.
Newsletter subscribers may unsubscribe using the unsubscribe link included in newsletter emails. Unsubscribing stops future ITTL Perspectives campaign communications but does not necessarily delete the subscriber’s contact record, because limited opt-out information may be retained to honor the request and prevent inadvertent future mailing.
A request to unsubscribe from newsletter communications is different from a request to delete personal information. Requests for correction, deletion, or limitation may be submitted separately to ITTL Consulting and will be considered subject to applicable professional, contractual, legal, suppression, and recordkeeping obligations.
12. Children’s privacy
This website is intended for organizational leaders, boards, institutions, and adult professionals. It is not directed to children.
13. Contact
Privacy-related inquiries may be sent to contact@ittlconsulting.com.
